The educational sector in Yemen is considered one of the most affected sectors due to the war. Children's deprivation from education continues, and the number of children who need educational assistance has increased to 8.1 million in 2019, including 2 million children out of school, according to the Humanitarian Response Plan and the Education Cluster. Additionally, about 3,676 schools are affected by the war, while teachers have not received salaries for the last five years.
Objective of the Educational Program: Ensuring equal access to good and safe education for all school boys and girls in targeted areas in Yemen.
