NFDHR inaugurate Equal Access to Education Project in Bait Al-Faqih district, Al-Hodeidah Governorate



Emergency Response Project for Equal Access to Education for IDPs and Host Communities, implemented by NFDHR, and funded by YHF, was launched Tuesday, November 16, in Bait Al-Faqih District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate.
Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hassan Makbouli, Minister of Water and Environment, Eng. Abdul-Raqib Al-Sharmani, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Abdul-Mohsen Al-Tawoos, Governor of Hodeidah, Mr. Muhammad Qahm, and the Executive Director of NFDHR, Eng. Muhammad Salah, laid the foundation stone for the project, marking the start of the project’s activities.
The project aims to enhance education by constructing 13 classrooms, providing school seats and school bags with their supplies for 7,041 IDP and host community school boys and girls, in addition to constructing and rehabilitating 20 bathrooms and establishing 5 parents’ councils in the targeted schools.
