Food Security and Livelihood

The Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) program exists to ensure that the needs of the most vulnerable and conflict-affected communities are met through improving and strengthening household-level food security and livelihoods, which in turn ensures greater resilience to current emergencies such as conflict, drought, flood, diseases, economic recession and inflation. NFDHR’s FSL program was established in 2014, and launched with small and joint projects. The first relatively large project was a project funded by Acted in 2014. Since then, the FSL Program has run large projects funded by various international donors.
