Conclusion of Marib & Hadramout distribution of emergency food aid through cash transfers

Today, Wednesday, April 20, 2022, the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) concluded the activities of distributing emergency food aid through cash transfers by distributing the fifth and sixth disbursement cycles to beneficiaries in the districts of Marib City and Marib Al-Wadi in Marib Governorate, and Al-Abr district in Hadramout Governorate.

Throughout the project period, NFDHR carried out 6 cycles, benefiting about 2,263 IDP families in each cycle by covering basic food needs, with the aim of improving food security for the targeted families within the emergency response to food and education gaps project funded by YHF.

It is worth noting that the project activities include the rehabilitation, construction of education and health facilities, and the distribution of school bags and boards to benefit the displaced and their children in the targeted areas.
