Widespread Clean-Up Campaign in Saada (Districts of Sahar and Safra)



Mr. Muhammad Jaber Awadh, Governor of Saada, along with Mr. Muhammad Baydhan, Assistant Undersecretary for Humanitarian Affairs - Director General of the General Secretariat Branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, launched a widespread cleaning campaign in the districts of Sahar and Al-Safra.

The campaign is implemented by NFDHR with funding from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), in cooperation with the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund. The campaign aims to lift more than 500 cubic meters of waste from residential neighborhoods and displacement sites in the districts of Sahar and Safra.

During the inauguration, the governor expressed his appreciation for NFDHR work in implementing projects that would improve health aspects in the governorate.

The governor stressed the necessity of collaborative participation in cleanliness, embodying the teachings of Islam and the morals of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and prayers be upon him. Project coordinator Eng. Sadiq Handhal gave a brief explanation about the camp support and management project, its implementation phases and its activities as implemented in coordination with the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
