Emergency Integrated Life-Saving Response in WASH, Health, and Nutrition to IDPs and Conflict-Affected Communities in Rapid Deterioration Districts of Marib Governorate 2021

Number of beneficiaries: 7,222 of affected populations and IDPs
- 4822 BNFs in Health and Nutrition
- 2,400 BNFs in WASH
Project goals:
- Enhance the dignity of displaced families living in emergency and IDP camps.
Project Main Activities:
1- Health and Nutrition:
• Providing life-saving health and nutrition services to 3,467 children under five and 1,355 lactating women through mobile 3 teams in the three districts.
• Vaccinating 460 children in the targeted areas with the first dose of measles
• Providing antenatal care services to 690 women in the region.
• Training 12 health workers on preventing infection with COVID-19.
2- WASH:
• Providing 2,400 IDPs and affected groups with drinking water (15 liters per day of safe drinking water and AQUA Taps).
• Supporting 2,877 IDPs and affected groups with the right to hygiene kits.
• Carrying out hygiene promotion sessions and distributing hygiene life-saving practices brochures.
