NFDHR supports Al-Wahbi Hospital and 6 health facilities in Al-Sawadiya with modern medical equipment

Modern medical devices and equipment were delivered to 6 health facilities in Al-Sawadiyah district, Al-Bayda Governorate, with support of Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), as part of NFDHR project activities to provide health and life-saving response in the district.
NFDHR has also completed rehabilitating the six facilities based on the technical study conducted earlier to identify needs for medical devices and equipment necessary to enable providing high quality primary and secondary health care services.
The operating room in Al Wahbi Rural Hospital was equipped with all modern devices that enable perform various operations, as well as equipping the resuscitation, emergency, inpatient, laboratory and birth departments.
Project interventions started last November by providing 83 different kinds of medicines that are dispensed free of charge to patients, as well as supporting the facilities with operating expenses and paying monthly incentives to health workers to provide primary health care services
