Completion of 5 Water Projects in Al Hudaydah Governorate

National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) has completed the implementation of five water projects in Hodeida Governorate funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supervised by the International Vision Hope (VHI).

The director of the Food Security and Agriculture Project, Nadia Al-Hindi, stated that NFDHR has implemented 3 projects in Al-Zuhra District and 2 projects in Al-Qanawes District, benefiting 527 households with 2990 members, including 1497 males and 1493 females.

Noting that the components of the water projects include rehabilitating water sources and providing them with solar powered pumping systems, with total wattage capacity of 45 kW.

NFDHR has carried out 10 water projects during the past two years, including 6 projects in Al-Zuhra and 4 projects in Al-Qanawes, which benefited 924 households of 5811 members, including 2966 males and 2845 females.
