7 volunteers trained on conducting community awareness in Kuaedina district



Last week, a training workshop for community volunteers on promoting hygiene and community engagement methods was held in Hajjah.
Organized by the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR), the workshop aimed to train seven volunteers on Community Awareness Guide on Promoting WASH and Water Conservation, beside introducing participants to healthy, life-saving practices and methods of preventing acute watery diarrhea and Covid.
The volunteers will conduct 158 community awareness sessions in Kuaedina district, Hajjah, and will target 3,156 beneficiaries.
NFDHR is currently implementing an integrated project in Food Security, Agriculture, Health, Nutrition and WASH for affected displaced persons and host community in the districts of Kuaedina and Muftah in Hajjah governorate, funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
