Deputy Minister of Education praises NFDHR interventions in education sector




Deputy Minister of Education for Projects Sector, Sadeq Al-Rasha, praised the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) interventions in the field of education in Al-Bayda governorate.
During his visit to Tariq Bin Ziyad School in Al-Shariyah and Umm Salama School in Al-Swma'ah district, Al-Rasha described NFDHR projects in the education sector as successful. He stressed the importance of such projects and their positive impact on the educational process.
He pointed out that Tareq School will benefit 120 students from first through third grades,  where more than 150 students are studying at Umm Salma School.

In 2023, the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response established 23 classrooms, rehabilitated 174 classrooms, supported by 1,125 double school seats, 110 whiteboards and recreational bags, and supported 6,843 school boys and girls with bags in the Al-Bayda, Al-Swma'ah, Radaa, Al-Shariya, Radman, Numan and Natea districts in Al-Bayda, funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
