"I miss my school" campaign launch in Mahlia, Rahba, and Majzar districts in Ma'rib Governorate



National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) launched "I miss my school" campaign and distributed school bags in the districts of Mahlia, Rahba, and Majzar in Marib Governorate.

The campaign aims to support 4,500 IDP and host community children with school bags and supplies like pens and notebooks, as part of the integrated, emergency and life-saving response project in Health, Education, WASH and Shelter in Ma’rib, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

"I miss my school" campaign, implemented in Marib, under the patronage of the governor, General Ali Mohammad Taiman, aims to support continuity of education. It also aims to encourage and motivate school boys and girls to enroll in schools, and encourages dropouts to return to their classes.

The inauguration was attended by the Director of the Supreme Council for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Saleh Al-Sharif; the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for the Projects Sector Sadiq Al-Rasha; the Director of the Education Office in the governorate Ali Al-Zaydi; the director of the Majzar Mohsen Salem Ghufina; member of Shura Council Sheikh Saleh Khamis, and the project manager, Dr. Abdulwahab Zina.
