NFDHR held training for women health workers in Al-Sawadiya District, Al-Bayda Governorate on counseling in infant and young child feeding.

The course, with 20 trainees, aimed at introducing health workers to the optimal methods of feeding infants and young children, in order to raise awareness and familiarize women with these methods, in a way that contributes to improving children's health and enhancing their immunity to diseases.

NFDHR is currently implementing a project to provide integrated life-saving response in the area of health, nutrition, water, environmental sanitation and shelter for people with urgent needs in hard-to-reach areas, front lines and undeserved areas in the districts of Al-Sawadiya and Kushar in the governorates of Al-Bayda and Hajjah, funded by  YHF.
