NFDHR celebrates graduating 140 IDPs finishing livelihood skills training program



National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) celebrated the graduation of 140 IDPs finishing a training program on capacity building in livelihood skills, in Saada governorate.
The training program lasted for two months, and was implemented in cooperation with the Technical Education and Vocational Training Office in Saada Governorate, aiming to train the displaced in the fields of construction, electricity, plumbing, carpentry, agriculture, painting and sewing, to equip them with the skills needed for joining the labor market and to improve their living standard as well as to become self-sufficient in earning their living.
The training program, which is part of the activities of the Camp Management Support Project, implemented by NFDHR with funding from the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), included theoretical lectures and extensive practical work in the targeted fields by certified trainers in vocational training institutes.
The graduates were honored with tool bags equipped with all work requirements in the specified fields.
