The National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) began constructing a new reservoir for harvesting rainwater and a water barrier in the district of Haidan, Saada governorate, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).  
The reservoir, with capacity of 1,000 m3, will benefit 500 people in the regions of Al-Helah, Aal Al-Wadi, and Aal Al-Yusri. The capacity of the water barrier is 14,000 m3, and benefits 700 people in Aal Al-Ajri, Aal-Izzi, Aal Al-Baloli and Aal Qaleel.
NFDHR concluded the establishment of two reservoirs for harvesting rainwater in the areas of Madhbaa and Al-Jarha, Hydan district. The filters and interior work of the two reservoirs are being finalized before the work on metal covering starts in the beginning of 2021.
