NFDHR provides more than 1000 benches to 13 schools in Al-Jarrahi District, Al-Hodeida Governorate




Reflecting its keenness to support the education sector and to help maintain the continuation of the educational process, National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) began -last week- the distribution of school benches to a number of primary and secondary government schools in Al-Jarrahi, Al-Hodeida in coordination with the Education Office in the governorate.

NFDHR aims to distribute 1050 double school seats to 13 schools within the activities of the emergency response project for education services, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF). The process of distributing seats to all targeted schools is scheduled to be fully accomplished by the end of this week.

The project activities also include the construction of 10 classrooms, rehabilitation and the establishment of 18 toilets in the targeted schools, in addition to providing 10000 students with school bags -with the required stationary- which will be distributed to the targeted students at the beginning of the new school year.
