Tuesday July 14, National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) conducted a training workshop, funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), for volunteers in health awareness, at Haydan district - Saada governorate.
The workshop is implemented as part of the activities of Emergency and Integrated Interventions project for life-saving targeting water, environmental sanitation and shelter. The workshop aims at training 18 volunteers on a guidebook of community health awareness messages, promoting concepts of environmental sanitation in the targeted areas; as well as raising awareness of ways to transmit and prevent diseases and epidemics, including the Corona virus.
The trainees will soon carry out awareness sessions in the targeted areas of the project, in a way that contributes to promoting health awareness; which in turn helps in reducing the spread of diseases and epidemics.
