An introductory workshop for the education project in Al-Garrahi District, Al-Hudaydah Governorate



On Wednesday, June 10, in Al Hudaydah city, the introductory workshop was held for the emergency response for education services project that will be implemented by the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) in Al-Jarahi district, Al-Hudaydah Governorate،Funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund YHF.
The project is targetting 11,850 students, aims to improve equitable access to safe, inclusive and equipped learning spaces for girls and boys in conflict-affected areas.

The project activities include the construction of 10 semi-permanent classrooms, support the targeted schools with 1050 double school chairs, 100 blackboards with markers and erasers, support 10,000 students with school bags and educational materials in at least 12 schools, and construct and rehabilitate 18 school bathrooms.
