NFDHR holds a workshop to introduce the activities of the IDP Camps Management CCCM project in Sa



The National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFDHR) organized on 'Wednesday May 20' in Sa'ada city, a coordination workshop to introduce the activities of Site Support Management for IDPs, which will be implemented by NFDHR in Sahar and AsSafra districts, Sa'ada Governorate, funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
The workshop, which was held in coordination with the branch of the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the governorate, with 25 participants, aimed at reviewing the project activities and its positive impact on beneficiaries and the importance of strengthening and coordinating cooperation between the institution and related parties in a manner that ensures the implementation of the project during the specified time period and reaching the targets
 
During the workshop, Eng. Khaled Al-Laith, Sa'ada Sub-Office Mnager,  pointed out the importance of the project to support sites management for IDPs in building capacity of IDPs households in livelihood skills, cash for work activity and providing minor maintenance support by connecting the IDP Hosting Sites to existing infrastructures which will positively reflect on improving the livelihoods of the targeted displaced persons.
 
Moreover, the project will target 14980 displaced people, including 477 people with special needs in Sahar and AsSafra governerates.
 
 
Meanwhile, the project coordinator, Engineer Sadiq Handal, went through project implementation plan and selection criteria. The various project activities aimed at improving the living conditions of the IDPs sites including people with specific needs, in addition to maintenance work and hygiene campaigns that will be implemented in camps.
