On February 20, 2020, Protection and Gender program in National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response, organized an awareness event on the occasion of the International Day for Social Justice, which falls on February 20 of each year.
During the event, Protection Program, Fatima Sharaf Al-Deen, stressed the need to give the principles of protection and social justice special importance during the implementation of all relief and development interventions by the Foundation's programs, especially food protection and health projects.
Social Justice is the primary element that will enable everyone to live the same in a dignified life, ensuring that all individuals in the societies of the world have the real opportunities they deserve.
In 2007, the United Nations approved February 20 as World Social Justice Day
